Eid Mubarak

Hearing of the many campaigns against the various social menaces faced by us certainly brings about a sense of happiness in me because according to me this is the first step towards conveying to our, not so efficient and self-less political brass that, our memory is not as short as they think it is, no more are we going to say "Chalta Hai" to corruption, atrocities against women/senior citizens... (the list goes on). We have decided to stand up for our right.

But as Gandhiji put it, BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE"...

"Way to go... INDIA. "Jai Ho"

My candidature for the forthcoming BMC elctions 2012

I truly believe in Mahatma Gandhi's saying - "Be the change you want to see".
The one change I would like to see in my country is, intellectual and sincere people who are capable of being leaders at every level of governance.
The only way this is possible is if every citizen recognizes his/her responsibility towards society and votes for the candidate fulfilling the aforesaid criteria.
Please do not let political parties take you for granted and impose dubious and incompetent candidates on you. Don't let ignorant citizens decide the future of our country. Please shake the coplacency out of the system.
It must be about us. It must be about what we can do together. This campaign must be the occassion, the vehicle of your hope and your dreams. It will take your time and energy and your advice to push forward and make sure we are doing it right.
I appeal to you to work together to make this a reality.
